Candellila Wax

Candelilla Wax derives from the leaves of the North Mexican candelilla shrubs. The wax is naturally hard, brittle, yellowish-brown, opaque to translucent. It is widely used as a film-forming agent and emollient in cosmetics. Further application areas are: foodstuffs, inks and dyes, adhesives, coatings, emulsions, polishes and pharmaceuticals.
