Rosemary Pepper Oil,  Alecrim Pimenta – Lippia sidoides

This is a product obtained from a plant native to Brazil, especially in the Northeast, known for its intense aroma similar to thyme and oregano. It is valued for its antimicrobial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties, being effective in treating skin infections and used in mouthwashes and toothpastes. In folk medicine, it is used in teas and baths to relieve symptoms of flu and cough, in addition to serving as a natural repellent. Adapted to dry climates and poor soils, it is resistant and easy to grow. However, its use, especially the essential oil, should be done in moderation and under professional guidance to avoid irritation.
